Repairs Northwest Austin Drivers Bring Us

Looking for an honest repair shop that won't upsell you? Mobil 1 Car Care | Oak Knoll Automotive is a family-owned, full-service shop on Research Blvd (US-183) in the 78759 ZIP, serving drivers from the Arboretum, Great Hills, Northwest Hills, Jollyville, Anderson Mill and across North Austin. We fix everything from a squealing brake to a stubborn check engine light on domestic, Asian and European vehicles, with clear explanations, upfront pricing, and a free multi-point inspection every visit.

  • Brake repair: pads, rotors and brake fluid for 183 stop-and-go traffic.
  • Check engine light and diagnostics: we find the cause, explain it in plain English, and quote before we touch anything.
  • A/C repair: because an Austin August with no A/C isn't a lifestyle.
  • Cooling system: radiators, water pumps and hoses that hold up in Texas heat.
  • Steering, suspension and alignment: for the potholes on Research and the hills off Spicewood Springs.
  • Engine, transmission and electrical: the bigger jobs, done right the first time.
  • Fleet maintenance: scheduled service and repairs for Austin businesses.
  • Pre-purchase inspections: know what you're buying before you sign.
